It's Snowman Iceman! Unfortunately, Bobby is the worst of the first class X-Men. Despite having a nice speed on that first click running shot, he doesn't do enough for 60 points. I blame single-target Incap.
An average character. We have made him more playable in our home games, as 1 of our house rules is that figures with Running Shot and Barrier can RS then place a Barrier. Almost makes him worth his 60 points.
Trade to Canada. We're friendly, and we love Beavers..........
You've obviously never taken a gander at V Cannonball then... :tired:
That said, he was pretty spiffy in sealed (one of the few Barrier pieces in M&M and a decent 3rd tier attacker), but he loses a lot of his luster outside of that format. Not bad, but certainly not great dial-wise.
Love him. The Sculpt is perfect and the dial is great. He was released in the same set as Takedown for a reason. The Defend looks useless but end-game a 16 (especially with Combat Reflexes or Energy Shield/Deflection) is really useful, even the 15 can't hurt...especially with Xorn in play. I love the first click too...with X-Men TA he might never get off it!
Ace of the Secret Society of Supervillains Clan!
Yellowjacket (Human) - 100 points of P-Y-M-P - Sweet Papa Doom/BPW
How this piece of garbage can cost 60 points is beyond me. I guess they had to fill a 200 points team... He's only really bad for the points, though, should he cost 20 points less, he'd be at least playable.
Rookie Bobby is not bad at all. You can use him as a "healer" (using his TA) in X-Men teams or supporting other X-Men members, and he can use barrier, what is always useful. And we shouldn't forget that he has a good range, RS and Incap with a not bad Attack value in his 1º click, which make him a decent supporting shooter. At least, as I said, you can spend these 60 points in a X-Men healer that can use barrier as well.
