I think that is basically all the OP wanted, an admission from normalview that the wording was lacking in clarity instead of the way it was answered.
If normalview had just said "I agree the wording for the trait is not very good I'll send it up and see if we can get an errata for it to be more clear, in the meantime this is how I would rule it." this thread would be a lot shorter.
Amen.

Yeah. I read that trait and thought "Huh, what's THAT supposed to mean? Is this a once-per-turn thing?"
THEN I read the special power and though "Well WTF? How does that relate to the trait? Is it a limiting condition?"
I'm glad that Normalview was quick with a ruling, but to imply that there isn't anything confusing or unclear about how it is written is just rude and insulting.
It's not at all unreasonable to want clarification on how often the "one free action" could be used or even to think that "one" might be used as a limiting term.

And where exactly did say such things? To put words in my mouth (and you aren't the only one) is also rude and insulting.
Seriously, the OP never really stated (at least, not for 100 posts or) that "all [he] wanted was an admission" from me. He asked, and I quote below:

SP: Animal Influence: If Alyosha Kraven was given a non-free action this turn, you may give Gulyadkin the Lion or another friendly character with the animal keyword a move action as a free action.
First, there are no words for how awesome this is. The only question I have is if the special power's free movement is taken, does that count as the free action granted from the trait. Or are they mutually exclusive?
And what if he's given the free move first? He was given a free
action (no matter what it was) this turn, so I would think that the trait
is used up too from the one move. If he uses the trait's power to do a close combat action, could he then use the SP to move afterwards? That would be two free actions (albeit different ones), but the trait seems to cap you at one
That question was answered. If he wanted something else, he should have said so. Instead, we got... well... this thread.
So, yeah, you can say it could be written more clearly. I won't disagree with you. But you can't say an answer wasn't given. And you also can't say I was EVER rude or insulting during this exchange.
Now I am officially done with this thread. I took a break, came back, and found people decided it was fun to pile up on me in the meanwhile, pretend I said things I never said, and act like they said things they never actually said. So, yeah, now I am upset... so score one for you all, I guess?

I also saw a lot of people thankful for your response on the bat signal thread and coming to your defense when you were asked why post about DC when you did not collect those things. Find that silver lining wherever it lays.
I'm closing the thread as it has clearly lost its purpose. Thanks for all those who made contributions.
