Somebody said that you had to use the smoke cloud as soon as the action was given even though the card says that giving the power action gave the character the free action to use the power until your next turn, but that doesn't make any sense to word it like that it that's the way you have to use it.
Another poster claimed the power action did allow you to use smoke cloud as a free action later as a free action, that way that character could be carried and since smoke cloud was a free action it could be used and that was why the card was worded that way. But then another poster (probably the same one as before) said that the game rules stated you couldn’t wait; something about having to complete the action or something like that.
I know I read in the rule book somewhere that the game rules could be changed by rules stated on relic cards or item, so to me it's, give power action, and before the beginning of your next turn that character can use smoke cloud as a free action, "which means not right then, but later".
I guess we need one of those gold Mod members to settle it, they haven’t as far as I know.
Let me find the strength to cut back on this game!
The "until end of of turn" specifies how long smoke cloud lasts so it doesn't go away as soon as you lose the ability to use it, which is instantly. This came up when discussing Warblade's barrier. I had the question of whether since he had 1 token he could use barrier after getting a second since it granted its use as a free action until end of turn. It was ruled no, the until end of turn is a duration on the ability, not how long you may perform the free action for. On top of that there is the rule that all free actions triggered by an action resolve immediately after the action that triggers them. You take a power action, it grants a free action, you take it then and there. That's all there is to it.
(By the way I played it the way you guys interpreted it at first until I got the ruling on Warblade)
