Madame Web and Support

Does Madame Web's "Heed My Words" work with Support? I think it does but want to make sure I'm not missing something.

SUPPORT: Give this character a power action and make an attack roll (that is not an attack) against an adjacent friendly character as though making a close combat attack. When using this power, neither this character nor the target can be adjacent to an opposing character; ignore all combat value modifiers for this action. If the attack roll succeeds, roll a d6 and subtract 2 from the result, minimum result 1. The target is healed of damage equal to the result.

I don't see why it wouldn't. Support makes an attack roll (which is not an attack but who cares) and Heed requires an attack roll. I say it's totally legal (and awesome). Not only that, it doesn't modify any combat values, it modifies the roll itself.

Sweet. Thanks, guys. Tomorrow we're doing a 200 pt. battle royal on two giant maps put together and I'm planning on running a team of ASM Dr. Strange, ASM, Brother Voodoo with Howling Commandos ATA, and Madame Web. This seems like a fun team with a fair amount of synergy all around. 18 defense Madame Web with Super Senses will be a pain lol
