Hello all,
I am looking for a little help for my store's NML #4.
We are playing 500 pts, with half having to come from ASM, and the other half from BM and/or SOG.
We are sticking with our house rules = Highlander (no more than one of the same named figure), no IG/UB/GB...

If you have any ideas, please share...
This is the first team I have come up with, but it just don't feel to be enough to me...
Remember we will be on the NML Month 4 map.

ASM portion:
Jennifer Kale 77pts.
Brother Voodoo 79pts.
Dr.Strange 90pts.
(total 246 pts)

BM/SOG portion:
Bruce Wayne 50pts (TK/Perplex)
Mr.Freeze 118pts.
Scarecrow 74pts.
(total 242 pts)

overall total = 488pts.


Team has some interesting potential. Stealth gets handled with TK attack and Mind Controlling them to come out in the open. Freeze/Crow can Incap people to death. Have PB to deal with any tent pole. Prob is there... just not sure, it doesn't feel perfect yet.

Any ideas? or new team suggestions with these perimeters?

You can fill in with objects maybe. Spider-Girl busts stealth. Big Barda and Vampire work in close. Big Barda and Baron Mordo should be able to do serious damage to any threat. Good amount of support, and stealth to hide behind, while also being able to bust stealth. A TK'd Baron Mordo single-Target PW is always devastating.

Cruisers lock down, reposition etc... Poisoners poison and EW, Blade helps lock down and dice. Alfred Heals up characters as needed.

Lol what's the GB? IG = Infinity Gauntlet, UB = Utility Belt and I lost you after GB

Personally, I'm a big fan of almost any team Jonid suggests to someone That being said, I like team 1 more. It allows either an early pulse wave or an early Boom tube that could well-in-doubt shatter most teams. I'm also a big fan of the TK Bruce Wayne. He's like my Scarlet Witch that I don't own.

My AVM 202 Hulk has some exprerience this past weekend in dealing with Baron Mordo

Hulk: "Hulk Sad :'( Hulk Strongest There ISSS!!!!! except against Pulse Wave...."

Do they count NML as part of the batman set at your venue?

GB= Gamma Bomb.
Yeah, NML figures are allowed, I believe? but not sure. I will have to ask the judge.
Will say when I find out.

Gives you a much needed prob or two, those werewolves are just as fun as vampires and something more defensive heavy than baron mordo.

Nice, but cant go over 250 for either half.... so nope.

So both set builds have to be 250 or less? Detective and Animal are your only Thrme options apparent at first look. Although Detective would require a substsntial underbuild in my opponion since I would want both Doc Druid and Hannibal King but if you go a different route...
Now animal can be super fun with Alyosha Kraven leading your forces. Are FF and GF legal? Back to animal

If you like the Animal ATA you can always drop the flock and 1 werewolf. This will also allow for swapping out WbyN for Lizard. Looks like a fun animal swsrm team. Does highlander include generics? If so then sorry.

If you can use vehicles and Gravity Feed Batman.

If ya wanna go theme your options are pretty much animal, monster, scientist, and celebrity. I'd prolly go scientist or mystical.
