Thanks. Your also saying you can attack opposing characters at a higher elevation if you have great size?

target characters on higher elevations. This character may draw lines of fire (and have lines of fire drawn to it) as if the character occupied the elevation equal to or greater than the elevation it occupies, using the elevation level with the least restrictive line of fire. This ability can't be countered.
note that it doesn't say lower elevations though...
Also, wait, what? Giant's don't ignore water terrain? oooooh...
I miss? PC it. You hit? PC it. I hit? I can do better, PC anyways. You miss? I DIDN'T SEE SNAKE EYES, PC IT!
Water is hindering on movement. Giants ignore hindering on movement...
so a character with green for improved movement ignores blue and green terrain? odd, i would have thought those separate with the new (VERY) specific formatting. So i guess those with just blue don't get to ignore green... >< ah well, it makes sense. just wish Dolphin got some more usefulness

Giants can in fact attack down.
As for green vs blue I like to think of it like squares and rectangles. A square is a rectangle but a rectangle is not necessarily a square. Water terrain is hindering that doesn't affect targeting, but hindering is not necessarily water. So in the same way if you ignore rectangles you ignore squares, if you ignore green you ignore blue as well. Blue is a subcategory of green basically.

Giant Reach
This character ignores opposing characters' Plasticity and adds 1 to its d6 roll when breaking away. When this character is given a move action it can use the Carry ability. When this character is given an action that includes a close combat attack, all squares within a range of 2 and line of fire are considered adjacent. This ability can't be countered.
Combined with the Great Size wording, if you're not on the edge of elevated, you can't attack someone off the edge (equal to or greater elevation). But if you are at the edge, then it's fine to attack down. Or am i reallllly missing something here...

Nope, that's correct. You must be able to draw LoF to the squares to consider them adjacent so a setup of 1 being a grounded figure 2 being elevation level 2 and and G being a giant, G would not be able to swing at 1.
1 2 G
If you go to the PG pdf do a find for "giant reach". It is in Section 3 Abilities
ahh i was just thinking in different terms!
And back to the original question by clixjunkie89, there are a tiny handful of characters with flight AND leap/climb, so feel free to mix it up!

logically wierd yeah. but if you read Leap/climb and the abilities that the wing symbol provides in the PAC you'll see the difference.
Oh, I realized what Quebbster said was true, I didn't have to look at the rulebook again. It's just strange that a character can jump and attack, but a character that can be pretty much as high as he/she/it wants can't. You'd think that would have been changed by now.
