Ok, so pretty strait forward question here I think but I can't seem to find it in the slew of '2013 PAC Questions' up on the boards right now.
If I TK an object at a square occupied by an opposing character (ie attacking someone with it) and I currently possess FB through any other means, in which direction would the knock back be applied? To that end, would it even be applied? I'm pretty sure it counts as an activation of the power but would you draw LOF from yourself to the occupied square or from the direction of the square previously occupied by the object?
And before anyone calls me on it, I did check the new rule book (page 16) for object rules to see if it said anything about LOF's first.
You're hitting with an attack and doing damage, so that should trigger the new passive effect of Force Blast. The rules specify that knock back is in a straight line away from the attacker. Although it makes more "sense" for it to be along the LOF drawn from the object to the target, I don't see anything in the rules that would say to do it differently for a ranged TK attack.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Yeah, that combination makes Red Tornado sound like a lot of fun. Toss an object without needing line of sight and blast someone into a wall or off a building.
