Can declare myself a minion of a character with a wildcard team ability, then proceed to use that to wildcard other team abilties?

No, Wildcard Team ability can not be used to copy Wild Card team ability because it is already using the same game effect.

That wont work...you would get nothing because you can not wildcard a wildcard.

Wild Card TAs as it turns out are not "uncopyable"...
