Title says it all, basically we have a game coming up this Saturday where A) There's going to be several new players and B) We get to team up with a partner

Now I'm not sure what to run as most of the regular players will not be their that night, but I want to build a team that could work well with a typical new players team (most likely cobbled together with pieces I gave them ).

how new are your new players? like new to you or new to the game?

Like they just started three weeks ago. There's about 4 of them.

Personally, I was thinking the Sinister Syndicate stuff.

What is highlander?

Sorry, Highlander is for the most part, playing only of a certain named figure, like Batman. At our venue, we can use more than one of a given named figure, but it can't be from the same set.

I'd use whatever team has the least special rules and abilities so you dont confuse the new players. Get them used to the standard powers first.
