"Running away to the veterinarian? I don't think so," the infiltrator said, shooting down Jane.
"Jane! Nooo!" Thor cried out and moved to avenge her. Superman met him mid-air.
"These people are under my protection, Thor," Superman punched him back down. "I understand you're fighting for your own people too, but I will oppose you."
"He said it better than I could, but yeah," Supergirl said, hitting Thor as well. "What he said."
Steel on Supergirl. Needs 7, rolls 12. Nice but where were these rolls the last few turns when they could have made a difference? Supergirl's out. Really, it's the Man of Steel himself that concerns me.
Enchantress tries to mc Steel herself. Needs 7, rolls 9. He's under her control.
I'm not ready to quit. I have a healthy Skirn and two Mystics all in good shape plus others able to help....your Superman and Faora are concerns for sure---let's see what another turn brings before I concede.
"You fought well, Thor. Take consolation in that," Superman said and flying in like a locomotive, knocked the thunder god to the ground, from which position he didn't move.
"Does that mean we're done here?" the Infiltrator asked. "Because I'm not done with this cur yet." She hit the Fenris Wolf. "All right. Now I'm done."
I give you credit sir. You took what originally looked like it would be a rout and turned it into a nailbiter. You're right. It is the Kryptonian's greater mobility that was the key. The Asgardians are terrific ground pounders, but as a whole, not terrific at range. They just couldn't pin the Kryptonians down long enough for the brutes to do their work.
Agreed. Having said that I would revisit this game as the Asgardians at another time. Especially with all the new figures! It's hard to count Absorbing Man as Asgardian but he's sure fun.
