Sorry, Im kind of technologically stupid...but I was reading a "catwoman vs infinity gauntlet" thread and now I cant find it!
Anyway, can I get an official, technical definition of what "assign" means please? (particularly in terms of the Infinity Gauntlet)
I am just wondering how the interaction works with characters that play off "objects" and/or "relics."
For example, can Catwoman 204 use "Can't Help Myself" and steal it? (I read the enough of the previously mentioned thread to know that 015 can turn it off.)
Also, can Grunge 034 use "Molecular Absorption" on the gauntlet causing it to be RFG?
These probably seem like "duh" questions, but my dilemma lies in the fact that unlike other Relics and Objects in the game, the Gauntlet does not have "Relic" or "Object" listed...which leads one to believe that once "assigned" it is effectively a part of that character.
Neither of those powers affect the gauntlet because it's not an object or relic.
These guys are correct. She cant effect the Gauntlet, Bat Belt or Book of Skulls because they are Resources. Even when they have objects attached to them (They would be considered part of the resource and not an object or relic when attached) they are safe from most things that effect standard objects or relics.

Are you sure about the Hammers? The rule card refers to them as relics, and they don't have a separate card for when they come into play with the Book of Skulls as opposed to being played as a normal relic.
I can see how it would otherwise be ambiguous since you pay a different cost for a hammer with the Book of the Skull, but under equipping the hammers from the book it says:
Quote
If the friendly character does not place the relic on its card this turn, then for the remainder of the game, it is a relic as described on its card.
I was in the other thread about the Catwoman who prevented resource use
CAN'T HELP MYSELF: During the beginning of your turn, if Catwoman is adjacent to a relic or any character with a relic on its character card, remove that relic from the game.
The Book is a resource that hands out relics. Catwoman can steal a hammer but cannot do anything to the actual book
FWIW, two Catwomen can nicely nerf the book (DC10th exp - nerfs use within 6 spaces)
