Hi there again.. Now with this new question...
Setup:

1. Character X has a SP that allows it to use PC, Outwit and Perplex.
2. Opponent character counters via Outwit that SP
3. Opponent then makes an attack against Character X
4. Character X now has Outwit instead of the SP.

Question: Does the Standard Outwit is still countered? Why?

It would not be countered, because what was originally countered was not Outwit, it was the special power.

That's why unless I'm using it to get ride of something defensive, I always try to wait until after I'm done attacking to use Outwit.

No because the Outwit originates from a different source: the first one, a special power and the second one, a standard.

Even though they both *are* "Outwit", their sources differ so you get a reset and your Outwit is back.
