I don't mind getting clarification on things, but a new thread to discuss basically the same thing...
I am wondering where you are leading to with this line of questioning, though. Objection overruled.

That thread pointed out I was using outdated rulings in the end. Thus, I am trying to relearn a concept I apparently don't know. It is called being humble. In an attempt to better understand the rules and be a better player and judge.
I do not understand how multibase movement works and therefore I present my question. The answer appears to be a dissenting one. You say "no", the others appear to all say "yes". It appears an orange is now needed.

Yes and no. Barnstable is nothing if not a stickler for following rules to the letter.
I believe the issue attempting to be addressed here (trying to avoid a further detour from the original question in that other thread) is the fact that moving a multi-square figure as a single square results in some rather complicated issues. Several of which as the rules are worded either require that the figure is not, in fact, moving as a single square, or that some other questions (such as the peanut base and a ladder/portal) have even more complex answers.
The ability to "Squeeze" is a rather important ability for multi-square figures on many maps, but also leads to unfortunate consequences where things like a tank not only create a tiny hole in a wall that they drive through, but due to their limited movement value cannot in fact drive all the way through said hole when facing the wall head on. Getting a better understanding of these rules is always a good thing.
