WHITE KING: If an action token would be given to Hellfire Club: Inner Circle, instead no action tokens are given. When Hellfire Club: Inner Circle takes damage, after actions resolve, roll a d6 and turn the asset dial that many times to the left.

My question - If White King shows up on my Asset dial, and I already have 2 token, do I have to clear or can I keep taking actions until I turn the asset dial?

I ask because it says "if a token would be given to Hellfire Club, instead no tokens are given." The word "would" is what makes me believe I would still have to clear. A token wouldn't be given to the base because it already has two, so the criteria is not met. Technically, a token COULDN'T be given.

Am I right in thinking this?

If they have 2 tokens, then they would be removed when Clearing for the turn.

Great! But would they be able to take an action before clearing?
