I recently played a 300 point tournament. My build was Fast Forces Justice League.
006 Green Lantern
004 Wonder Woman
003 Batman
During a turn, I transported both Wonder Woman and Batman using the Green Lantern team ability.
The Question: Upon landing after carry, can I use Batman's Outwit before Wonder Woman's Amazon Warrior Trait? Or do I have to use her immediately after carry?
Trait: Amazon Warrior: After Wonder Woman has been carried, she may be given a non-free action if she has not already been given one this turn.
On ruling of the judge at the game, he said that I would have to use Wonder Woman first before the Outwit from Batman.
He made a wrong call. Batmans turn isnt over. If you activate him to carry someone, land, then Outwit, thats fine. She doesnt even have to do something immediately after the move action resolves. He can Carry her, Outwit someone, and another of your characters can still activate. She doesnt even need to be given that non-free action if you dont choose for her to...hence "MAY"
Even if the wording on her trait were "Immediately after an action resolves in which Wonder Woman was carried, she may be given a non-free action..." it still wouldnt matter. Batmans activation isnt finished.
Her trait is specifically worded in a way that negates normal rules in which non-free actions cant be given to a Carried character, thats all.
So what happened? Did this mistaken call turn any tide?

All her trait does is allow he to get around the no action after being carried. Batman can use Outwit before you give Wonder Woman an action.

I just want to point out that this is wrong. First, Batman didn't carry in the Scenario, Green Lantern did.
IF Batman did carry then he could not Outwit until his Move action was complete. So Batman would carry, end what ever action was given to move, and then can be given a Free action to Outwit.

I used the Green Lantern to transport both Batman and Wonder Woman. I still won the game though. Just took a little longer.
I moved Batman to outwit my opponent's Impervious (Deathlok 011b - Wolverine and X-Men Set). Then I moved in Wonder Woman in later to deal damage. He also had Blade (Amazing Spiderman). He didn't invoke any of his powers so I think it was #207. And I think Dagger 008 Wolverine and X-Men for his third character. He eventually took out Wonder Woman, but for some reason he brought her back in at her last click using his trait:
COMPUTER: NO KILLING PROTOCOL: The first time each game an opposing character would be KO'd by Deathlok's attack, instead turn them to their last non-KO click.
Of course I used Wonder Woman to deal damage asap.
He left Batman alone to deal outwit at his leisure most of the game. Green Lantern did attacks at range.
I didnt read the version he used right...I thought I read Bats carried WW WITH the GL TA...totally missed where he said he used Green Lantern himself..
And I was referring strictly to a normal Move Action while using carry, not anything else that calls for any other action to resolve.
And to the above comment, once again I didnt look at any stats. There are Batmen that can use the Wing symbol. I assumed thats what was happening

I should have been more clear that I was using GL for carrying. Sorry about that.
I planned on using that Deathlok as a tentpole piece today. But his trait really has me debating it. The team really nothing else but support for him...so once that trait kicks in..wont really be anything there to take that character out. Lol. Lets hope I dont have to face Maelstrom..

I have some sympathy with the judge in this case: sorting out when the specified effect has to immediately occur and when it does not could be better defined. I think that if her power said "when she is carried after actions resolve she may be given a non-free action" it would need to be immediate, correct?
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
