Here's the situation; I use Charge then Mighty Talons(Flurry+) with FI Spidey. Assuming I hit 1 opposing figure with both attacks that figure receives an action token. So here's my question, if that figure already had an action token, does it take pushing damage for the second token being placed on it? My friend seems to think that it's only if the owner/controller activates an action that would give it an action token that would cause pushing damage. I however seem to think that this seems to indicate that ,while the way my friend says is usually the most common way of a push, it's simply whenever a second token is placed on a figure for whatever reason:
PUSHING
When a character receives a second action token
(usually because it has taken an action on two
consecutive turns), deal one pushing damage to
that character as actions resolve. Game effects
that evade, reduce, ignore, or transfer damage
do not affect pushing damage unless the effect
specifically says it does.

MIGHTY TALONS: Spider-Man can use Flurry. If he uses it and hits the same target with both attacks, give the target an action token.
You are correct. Whenever a second action token is dropped off on a character they take pushing, unless placated by some other power (Power Cosmic, Willpower, etc).
no they don't thats like incap they dont take pushing damage.
incap rules
Quote
Give this character a close combat or ranged combat action to make an attack that deals no damage. If the attack hits, give the target an action token; if the target already has 2 action tokens, deal the target 1 penetrating damage.
its only when the other player give the fig a token after attack or moving do they get a pushing damage.

Reason: rules
I don't know where people are getting this idea that action tokens placed as a result of other than an action do not cause pushing damage. I have run into this before

And under theme team
Must be given an action token (this does not affect your Action Total for the turn).
An action token is an action token is an action token - doesn't matter where it came from, it is an action token and the second one placed causes pushing damage (And, before someone chimes in, you have some way to specifically avoid pushing damage)

Incorrect. Although an attack with Incap doesn't deal damage, the action token placed on the target may cause Pushing damage which is separate from the attack.
It's not just Incap. It's anything that adds a token. A lot of players are under the impression that pushing only happens as a result of a direct action given rather than a general rule of whenever a second token is taken. It's a common mistake that's very easy to explain (unlike some other rules).
They groaned, they stirred, they all uprose, Nor spake, nor moved their eyes; It had been strange, even in a dream, To have seen those dead men rise.
Spidey's attack will not cause a character with two tokens to take an additional 1 unavoidable, like incapacitate would do, but as pretty much everyone here has correctly stated, if the character only has one token and Spider-Man's attack places a second token, then pushing damage will occur unless the target has some way to avoid it.

Well now, *I* have a question!
We debated this last night, concerning Incap and other SPs (this one was Boromir's from FotR) that give actions tokens.
HELD BY THE HORN: During the beginning of your turn, give Boromir an epic action; place up to 1 action token per 200 points of the game's build total on any opposing characters within 10 squares and line of fire.
So, the discussion was, does adding another token onto a figure with two action tokens do pushing like incapacitate? The ruling we used was that Incpacitate's wording is different and specific, so that Boromir wouldn't "push" an already-pushed character.

ACTUALLY, he did say this, which is entirely true, bit I may have misunderstood:

This is correct, except for calling what happens "pushing". Incapacitate deals 1 penetrating damage to a target that already has two tokens. So, a character that normally doesn't take pushing damage can still be damaged when incapacitated while they have two tokens.
You're right that it is something that is specific only to the use of the incapacitate power, and doesn't apply to all situations where a character should receive a token when they already have two.

you can't put another token on a fig with two tokens already. Incap is diff then the power he is asking about. this horn powers isn't incap.
