I've hit a mutants vs sentinels faze and need a little help. I bought a ton of sentinels way back in GSX,I'll list what I have below, and finally want to use them effectivly.
Are there any team builds you've had success with?

So I have -

Sentinel Mark 2 (100/300 points version) X3
Sentinel Mark 5 (150/300 points version) X2

Sentinel Mark 2 (300 points version) X1
Sentinel Mark 5 (400 points version) X1.....somwhere.

Sentinel (50/60 points) X4
Omega prime Sentinel X2
Karima
Bastion
Nimrod
Mastermold.

Mostly im looking for effective builds using the Sentinels SP's and aiming to build teams around 300 points and themed.

At 300 points you're kind of stretching it. The best uses I've gotten out of them are at the 400 and up.

You really want to use the 100 and 150 versions in tandem as they key off of each other. Shoot, add a token, shoot, free action to shoot again. So maybe 100/150/50 in a 300 point game.

Thanks. I see your point about it being a stretch at 300 points. I've had some success playing 3 mark 2's at 100 points but want to make use of the other sentinels.

The main reason I havn't played them in higher point games is because I think they'd get destroyed and that I keep trying to keep them themed.
What have you played at higher point totals?

Well, in a 600 pointer I used two Mark II's and two Mark V's, along with a Hydra Dreadnought and the two Doombots from the FF starter. The Bots ran around passing out Hydra and enhancement.

Sadly, it didn't do as well as I'd hoped when I ran into a team of Stealth everywhere pieces.

I've looked at the gravity feed Deathstrike though. She's got that Flurry/sidestep thing going on. That could be brutal.

hmmm I have been looking at teaming them with the reavers. It'll be easier to trigger the sentinels special powers as well as do decent damage compared to the 50/60 point sentinels.
I'll be working on some teams tomorrow and will post what i come up with.

300 is too few points for Sentinels being worth played
