So this is a question thats been bouncing around at my venue. If you play a teambase with an open slot and the character that belongs to the open slot with the belt can that character prep time or with the new rules land on a plus 2 clix and then Attach to the base? Next turn solo adventure off and still have the belt?
First, all characters for a Team Base must start attached.
Second, Team Bases and Detachable characters can't be assigned Resources and Relics.

Unless I'm mistaken, you can't attach a character to a Team Base that didn't start the game already attached to that Team Base. Makes the whole thing kinda moot.

If a resource includes a dial and an event has been triggered by which the dial is to be turned, then the dial will be turned at the appropriate time even if it the resource would otherwise be ignored.
And a third reason (fourth?) why the answer is no. Once you trigger the spinning of the belt, it will spin no matter what. Even if the belted piece is KOed.
