Aurora's 'Blinding Flash' and Northstar's Twin Connection
Pulse Wave
Give this character a ranged combat action, even if it is adjacent to an opposing character; the area of effect for this attack is half the character's range. Draw lines of fire to all other characters within the area of effect, including at least one opposing character; these lines of fire ignore all game effects except for walls, blocking, and elevated terrain. Game effects possessed or used by characters with a line of fire drawn to them are ignored until the action has been resolved. If a line of fire is drawn to more than 1 character, this character's damage value becomes 1 and is locked. Each character hit is dealt damage.
BLINDING FLASH: When Aurora hits with a ranged combat attack, a hit character modifies its attack value by -2 until your next turn.
TWIN CONNECTION: When Northstar is adjacent to a friendly character named Aurora, they modify their attack values by +1 and can both use Pulse Wave as if they had a range value of 8. This use of Pulse Wave does not affect friendly characters named Northstar or Aurora.
My question is: If Aurora hits with the Pulse Wave she gains from Northstar does her Blinding Flash special power kick in, thus giving the target(s) -2 to their attack until her next turn? It says it is activated off of hitting with a ranged combat attack and Pulse Wave is a ranged combat ACTION which, as far as I know, always leads to a ranged combat attack. So I would think yes. But I have been wrong oh so many times before.
Awesome.
I am so happy we have not only new, modern age Alpha Flight figures but they are extremely competitive and gel well as a team.
Woohoo!
That -2 to attack is absolutely brutal when used against a group of figures. People won't even see it coming!
At first I thought the GF for the Beaubier twins were better figures, but after seeing this combo in action, I'm convinced the regular IIM version are the best.
So when one uses pulsewave, is the other fig considered when drawing lines of fire or is the other completely ignored? Otherwise wouldn't they only ever be able to use the 1 damage section of Pulsewave?

I think the answer to your question is bolded here but I would await confirmation from an orange to be sure:
