I don't know, it seems to me after you deal damage, PW is resolved and therefore you could use the trait. You don't take feedback from Mystics because it says "when you take damage from an attack", and taking damage from an attack is part of the PW action and therefore ignored. Is KOing a figure and removing them from the map part of the PW action? I guess what I'm getting at is, at what point EXACTLY, does PW resolve?
Yes.
Everything from when you declare the action to when you place the action token at resolution is part of the action, including the attack rollj, dealing damage, and KOing the character.

When a [KO] symbol appears in a character’s stat slot, that character is defeated. Immediately remove it from the map; it is no longer part of the game.
Resolving an action includes resolving any free actions or game effects that action allows, followed by applying action tokens and then pushing damage to each character that received a second action token during that action.
PULSE WAVE Give this character a ranged combat action even if it is adjacent to an opposing character; the area of effect for this attack is half the character’s range. Draw lines of fire to all other characters within the area of effect, including at least one opposing character; these lines of fire ignore all game effects except for walls, blocking and elevated terrain. Game effects possessed or used by characters with a line of fire drawn to them are ignored until the action has been resolved. If a line of fire is drawn to more than 1 character, this character’s damage value becomes 1 and is locked. Each character hit is dealt damage.
Pulse Wave resolves after the targets are determined, after the attack roll is made, after hits are determined, after knockback is determined, after damage is dealt, after damage is taken, after KOed characters are removed, after knockback occurs, after knockback damage is dealt, after knockback damage is taken, after more KOed characters are removed, and after action tokens are placed. At that point, game effects stop being ignored again.

Yeah I read your posts after I posted and then immediately felt like a jackass. But thanks for the extra clarification.
No need to feel like that! It was a great question! This game is complicated. There's a lot to read, a lot to memorize, a lot to understand. Taking the initiative to try and learn how it all works is what is most important. Never feel bad for asking a question. Asking a question is the best thing you can do, no matter how simple it may be.

So a figure with Combat Reflexes and/or Charge WOULD get knocked back from a PW attack roll or doubles (or combined with Force Blast)?
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
I e-mailed the rules committee and the power is ignored.
Yes we know. That's what they tried to tell you. Pulse Wave ignores anything on a character that doesn't say "can't be ignored". One of the people that answered you was an official answerer and I think is now an official maker/fixer of some sort. Take it easy bro nobody here is trying to get over on you.
