Can you clarify why the "remove any other objects that are on it" doesn't stop you from having both? Not trying to argue, I'm just not comprehending it.
The reason is because "that object", though singular, can apply to multiple objects if they qualify. If two objects are placed on his card at once, you place "those objects" and then remove all other objects. It isn't two events, one placing the heavy, remove all others, then a second placing the light, then remove the heavy. Instead both objects are placed on his card at once and then any other objects are removed.
Can he absorb objects just given a power action on his place adjacent to both objects or he need to make a power who involve a power action...example charge
Secondary question regarding the stacking of abilities. If he got Imperv(from the Gauntlet or whatever) you could choose which ability to use right? So if you're only getting hit for 2 you could go with Imperv rather than Uru Metal?
90% of rules questions are answered by RTFC. Most of the rest are answered by a proper grasp of English and common goddamn sense.

What?

He can't just be given a power action for nothing. He needs to be given one in the use of a power he has, like Charge (or with the Gauntlet -- TK).

So can Absorbing Man absorb a light and heavy object at the same time, then be given a hammer?
Yes.
The key part to keep in mind is you have to be in the same square as the relic to pick it up, so since being in the same square as the relic is not considered being adjacent to the object, he won't remove the other objects already on his card when given a power action to pick up the relic.
Because Uru Metal says "ignores the damage", does that mean Precision Strike is not help since it states "damage dealt can't be reduced"? I am guess that "ignores" trumps "reduced".

exactly. Thats' why you can force him to take pushing damage via incap (unavoidable) but you can't make him take the 1 penetrating damage if he already had two (he'd have to roll) Likewise with precision strike.

So what happens to the hammers when they are replaced by another object on his card?
How can we have both a light and and a heavy object on his card at the same time if his trait says to remove them when another is added?
If you add one separately, you remove all previous ones.
But if you take a Power Action to roll for a relic pickup, at the same time that you are standing next to a Heavy Object and a Light Object, all all picked up simultaneously, with none to remove.

So are the hammers able to go back onto the book of the skull or get assigned to another character on your opponant's force? Or do they go bye-bye for the rest of the game?

Also note that if removed from the game in this way, no victory points are scored for them.
