(Special) At the Side of the Slain: Whenever a character is KO'd, after actions resolve, you may place Valkyrie in a square that character occupied.

(Attack) Fearless: Valkyrie can use Blades/Claws/Fangs and Flurry.




Your task, should you choose to accept it, is to make the best team you can that features Valkyrie within the build.

However, there are some special rules to this challenge!

Instead of one team, you should build THREE teams. One at 300pts Modern, One at 400pts Modern and One at 500pts Modern. Assume that anything goes in terms of resources, colossals or team bases. ATA's & Theme Team allowed. But no BFC's or Feats.

But that's not all! The final part of this challenge is that the team must be themed. But you cannot use the same theme for different point totals.

For example, you can do 300pt Avengers, 400pt Defenders and 500pt Asgardian, but you can't do 300pt Asgardian, 400pt Asgardian and 500pt Avengers.

Here's my crack at a 500pt Defenders Theme Team

With all three attackers being melee, all you gotta do is close the gap, choosing Mystics team ability from Dr. Strange and bust some heads in. All have great damage potential. But Defenders lacks any really good support figures besides CW Hank Pym.

400pt Asgardian Theme:

100pt AvX Thor
20pt FI Splitlip
30pt Book of the Skull

Similar concept to the Defenders theme team, except with a lot more ranged potential with Tanarus and Thor providing cover for Valkyrie. The addition of hammers makes it all the more dangerous.

This one is just laziness on my end. Trying to build a team that has Valkyrie as the focus, rather than just another attacker. With two probs, an outwit and a perplex, I can theoretically give her ample protection while she spins the Gauntlet. Only thing is I'm not sure if even with the Gauntlet if Valkyrie is good enough to be a one man army.

This Valkyrie plays well with tdw005 Sif..

What exactly do you mean when you say "support figure"??? I always thought the Defenders had really good supporting figures. There's characters that can lend out Mystics, X-Men TA, Energy Shield (!), immunity to Mind Control, or provide PC, Perplex, or Barrier for 26 points.
