AvX month 2 at my venue is this Sunday. It is 500 modern, must use one piece from the starter. Theme is required (Avengers/X-men are the required themes, based on your faction choice at the beginning). I am X-Men. Could I get some advice on this build?

If this is a good team, where should I put the fragment?
I expect to see a lot of M10 Iron Man, and month 1 I saw a lot of Silver Centurion and CW Hawkeye.
I have access to most X-Men keyworded figs that are modern legal other than the P5 chases. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think most people will be rolling with the Avengers because in modern they are better clix than X-Men. A lot of the good X-Men clix are Golden Age. I think with your team there isn't enough versatility and ways to adapt to different situations. Your characters are different. Most have 17d's, and the one good one (Cyclops @ 150pts) will be a target for opposing close combat characters. An Iron Fist could come in and do some damage...

Leaves 22pts of room for some fragments or what ever. You get Team Prob's. This team gives a lot of versatility and adaption to any situation. All characters are relatively tough to hit, hold their own when they are hit, put out damage, and can move and attack. If you ever get into a pinch, Bat Signal back.
