If my Hawkeye with and with one is based by two characters can I still use RCE to target one of them or does the fact that I am based by another character, that is not being targeted, nerf my ability to use a ranged attack against the other character?
I was thinking there was something in the sharpshooter ability about ignoring other characters for targeting purposes but I guess I dont know if it still impedes me from making a ranged attack while based.

This ability allows the character to make a ranged combat action/attack while based. If the attack targets, then targets of the attack must be the adjacent character(s). Regardless of targets, non-adjacent characters can be affected by the attack (such as would be the case with powers like Pulse Wave and Energy Explosion).


so if you have this

opposing 1
opposing 2
opposing 3

. . .

you can use RCE to target opposing 1 or 2, but not 3,
