1: If I have a character who has Mastermind which is the same point value as an adjacent character, is that an acceptable character to transfer damage to? I ask this because I know there are instances in which you choose one of two characters of equal point values which to act as a higher point value.

2: Are characters that are transferred damage via Mastermind able to use any damage reducing powers?

1. No. You must specifically transfer the damage to a character of a lower point value. An equal value is not a lower value.

2. Barring any special exceptions, a character can use it's damage reducers on damage dealt that was transferred via Mastermind.
