Good, but not great. He is THE most powerful good guy character in DC- Superman-level, without the weakness, + a GL ring! This should have been a 250-300 point figure, with at least 9 clicks. The defense isn't as good as the one without the GL ring...how does that happen? Must have been the same schmuck that did the last Hercules dial for Marvel...

For starters, I wanted him as soon as I saw his Image. Also, I`m not sure if we are looking at the same dial. For 200pts he has Green Lantern TA, Wild Card TA, Superman TA, 8 range double shot, Move and Attack with Flight, and he is Indomitable, with the GL Keyword and LoSH Keyword, a worth addition to either team. I have not even touched on powers and numbers yet, shall we then? 10 Movement Running Shot to go with that 8 range stealth busting dual target, backed with an 11 AV where he can also use Barrier, Energy Explosion, Energy Shield/Deflection, and Psy Blast...whaaaaaat. Not to mention a 17 DV, bumped to a 19 at range, where he should be thanks to ES/D, possible 20 in hindering, and its backed by imperv! To polish off click number one he has a respectible 4 damage, and helps his fellow ring slingers or snipers with enhancment. Not to mention his dial will get quite a bit of milage from those 7 clicks with his impressive defense and reducers. Keep in mind...all this, for UNDER the 250-300 points you wanted, powerful, and economical. Now, are you suuuuuuure he is not great or do you still stand by your claim of him being just "good"?

He's pretty incredible, in my opinion. I'm going to try to get one of these so I can run a Mon-El/Batman Green Lantern team for War of the Light. =)

Both will have stealth and Mon-El can pick off targets under stealth while knocking them back. =) Hope I can fit 43 points of themed filler...

I stand by my assessment. The figure looks good. Is he playable? Yes. Does he match the comic book? No. And as with the Hercules reference, I prefer a clix more closely matching the comic than fitting it on a team. I want comic accuracy. The 3 TA's are overkill, as the GL is an expensive and useless expense. He teams with flyers that he can't carry.

Sorry he doesn`t have all 12 AV`s and 19 DV`s, just cant please everyone i guess. If only all characters were comic book acurate. Then superman would have 24 click dial with huge numbers, and Wolverine would be nearly unkillable, and Thor would be able to cover the whole map in smoke clouds....etc.....etc...too bad =/

Also im sure the Legion members will appreciate the GL TA quite a bit...

Mon-El + 3x CTD Science Police Officers + Penetrating/Psychic Blast and Energy Explosion = utter carnage!

Very good.

I would have given him Quintessence and/or a "recharge" power as part of his damage SP, but he's a solid choice as-is in higher point games on a LoSH/GLC theme.

He is good …but what will make him GREAT -- is a legion flight ring (and don't have him pick it up ------ let 40 point Phantom girl do it)

Interesting that he's the only LE figure from this set not to have some kind of replacement interaction with his main-set counterpart. I'm a little surprised they didn't give the Common Prime Mon-El some kind of Promotion ability to this guy, similar to what this set sees in White Witch/Black Witch.

@badger1: I'd opt for Blackest Night Atom and the Legion Flight Ring, instead of Phantom Girl. ;)

I get that but I still prefer Phantom girl -- Because:
A) She's more Theme based
B) She can copy GLC from Mon-el and carry 8 Legionnaires giving them all 18 DV
(the fact that she has a decent MV, can phase, and now has toughness is just gravy)

I half agree. I think it's odd that he has lower defense and attack, given that with the ring he should be MORE powerful. I think he's a bit pricey for his values, but only a bit.

Also, most of the Legionnaires won't give two shakes about the GL team ability. They all fly, so they can't be carried unless you include a flight ring.

@JayThor: Mon-El is a Daxamite, so he isn't vulnerable to kryptonite. But he's got it worse off: Daxamites are vulnerable to lead, and the effects don't fade the instant they're taken away. Get him to drink from a pewter mug and you've got a dead Daxamite.

I am VERY familiar with Mon-El, and the formula which makes him immune to lead and red suns...

I disagree, legion members will love his Team abilities...cause you know...they can COPY them. Also he has a 19DV at range, 20DV in hindering terrain, id hardly call that LOW
