To Canada Maestro and the others I have taken up this argument with I am extending a apology. But please understand I simply called it as I was able to see it. I currently argued with you about not targetting in Pulse wave and being able to hit friendlies. Now at the time I was arguing the point, (the last couple of months), nothing was noted specifically as I understood it in any Wizkids data. But while again researching pulse wave I retrieved a copy of July's FAQ that I had deleted, and there it was in black and white as it should of been. But this brings up another quandry. Since FAQ change month to month. how are we supposed to know what previous months are still valid and which have been changed without keeping a copy of everyone that comes out and updating them as they come out? In that July FAQ Stealth works against PW, does it now? We obviously can't argue points based soley on previously released FAQ's. What should we consider the final word? And are previous FAQ's retreivable?
First up, as for the apology it is not necessary. We've all got into arguments about the rules and if I had to apologize every time ... well, I'd be pretty busy.
As for the July FAQ (which I actually dug up) that definitely does not apply as it was written when the old rules were still in place.
As for what months are still valid, only the current FAQ is legal (and by current I mean the one dictated to be official by Wizkids which may not be the latest one which may still be the FAQ in waiting... this statement made sense in my head). You should never have to go to the old FAQs as those rulings can not be trusted.
Stealth does not work against Pulse Wave as the attack ignores all powers and abilities (the original Pulse Wave did not have that).

So all the things FAQ'd in previous months are included in the newest versions of the FAQ when they are released, right? (Assuming they didn't just FAQ a FAQ, in which case the new one would overwrite the old one anyway.)

Actually, things have a habbit of silently dissapearing off of FAQ's. Nothing recent comes to mind, but it does happen.
Some specifics of the Fantastic Four team ability have disappeared between either the November-December versions or the December-January versions of the FAQs.
That's the one example I can think of immediately.
In my day, we didn't have Heroclix. If you were being attacked by Superman with a 3d dumpster, you just had to hope you could outrun him.
So if it disappears off the FAQ, does that mean it is no longer a valid rule? Or is it still a rule, just not in the current FAQ? That could get confusing...

That depends on what the FAQ entry was for. If it was actually just answering a frequently asked question with justification from the rulebook then the ruling would still be valid provided the rules haven't changed between FAQs. For example, if they took out the entry "As Phasing is a power action, it may not be used with team abilities that allow characters to make a move action without using one of your total actions." it wouldn't change the fact that phasing can't be used with JLA/Avengers etc because the logic still stands.
If it's over ruling something in the PAC or Rulebook (such as taking out one of the rulebook corrections) then we would have to go back to the original rulebook text for the ruling.

Sometimes the powers that be at WizKids will determine there is enough of an explanation in the existing rules/FAQs that they can eliminate some of the entries. Those rules are still active since they are already explained somewhere else. Other rules were dropped because they might have changed due to a change/correction from the designers.
