Convention-exclusive LE team base, I'm afraid. :(

Because that's when the team base was made and when they announced it. They do this in part so they don't show anything from a "future set" although it technically should be a "WK" set, if I'm not mistaken.
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????
Not sure if this is the case or not, but I have heard the that WK figures are always considered Modern age, unlike the ones tied to a set like these or the Horsemen. My only complaint, aside from how hard he will be to get, is that there is no Spider-man family keyword.
This is a decent Spiderman however its WAAAAY OVERCOSTED. A dial with low damage and ZERO reducers or stacked evasive powers. That defense power is one of the most comic accurate specials for Spidey I've ever seen...but it most certainly is not enough for costing 165 points. A better half of 200 and you have a super annoying tie up character that can dodge attacks and drag opponents with a sticky incapacitate. 100% not worth it. Perhaps if he had traited shape change then I would be on board...otherwise this Spidey is better fielded on his team base.
My only quibble would be to open with the Running Shot at that point cost. I know Sidestep is nice. But maybe I'm old school and just haven't gotten the hang of the new pink powers. I'll get one and see how it plays.
He's sick and I def do want him...but I think that they should've given him combat reflexes with his special power at that point cost. He's sick though. Would just take some skill to use that sidestep flurry with heavy then get out.
I dont think his special def power is completely accurate I like the one from avx better and for 165 points idk I like the constant sidestep and upfront flurry but.....seems and bit too costly for me. I do like that incapable power he has though pretty cool similar to the skull one in 10 th an
I like Indomitable and Sharpshooter, but with only 7-clicks of life with no damage reducers and those stats, I'm just not seeing it. Really wish he was a Transporter.
I'm sorry, but this Spider-man does way too much damage. He is based off a cartoon where Spider-man wasn't allowed to throw a punch, just wave webs at people. He should be doing 1 damage max.
My 165pt piece dead in 1 or 2 attacks. I dont care if the SS is a 2-6, I'll still roll a 1. Throw a Shape Change on the first 2 clicks. With all this 11/12 attack he should also start with an 18D. As is... a great 135pt fig and an ok 145pt fig.
