Can you drop an object picked up with Superstrength?
Q: Can you drop an object picked up with Superstrength?
My friend says: No, there isn't an entry in the rules dealing with dropping an object.
Now I am too lazy to look this up, but my feeling is that if all super powers are optional then the fig could turn off Superstrength and drop the object they are holding.
Its in the faq somewhere (litlle help PL) that while carrying an object, SS can not be voluntarilly shut off. But it can be outwitted making you place the object in an adjacent square or under you.
Page 18 of the Indy Rulebook under "Objects and Super Strength":
"Characters with Super Strength may pick up an object and use it as a weapon. A character may hold only one object at a time. A character may not choose to drop an object once it is held; in order to dispose of a held object, the character must attack with it. If, however, a character holding an object is KOd or loses the Super Strength power, the character automatically drops the object, which stays in the square the character occupied when the power was lost."
As well, the last line of Super Strength:
"This character may not cancel this power while carrying an object."
