Pity there is not even a single FIGURE in that list, only objects... Wizkids annoying game design again. Pity you're talking about "fun factor" and only the bucket of water is actually "fun"... the other two pieces are uber-competitive madness.
1) Good point - I didn't list any figures. There are lots of good ones to choose from. Off the top of my head I'd probably name IIM Shaman as a really fun figure with his "no flight" trait, but I don't own one.
2) Gamma Bomb and Bat Signal as 'uber-competitive'? I don't know about that. I've only used them in "casual" battle royales. I consider them "fun" because it forces you to re-think your whole strategy.
Other "fun" elements I enjoy are the Event Dials. I kind of wish they were still at play in the modern tournament scene.
I enjoyed the NML maps with the Earthquake roll feature. A really fun game design.
I also enjoy the maps that let you portal to other maps (providing you have the maps/players/patience).
Do you like DC comics from the 1980s? So do I. Check out: www.dcinthe80s.com.
Superman tab app elite d-001. He's the best Sups in the game hands down; a game I've spent thousands on all in an effort to find an unbeatable superman, but if you don't have pulse wave I'm going to have fun.
Honorable mention... Lara lor-van best support in the game (for Superman only).
Gamma Bomb and Bat Signal as 'uber-competitive'? I don't know about that. I've only used them in "casual" battle royales. I consider them "fun" because it forces you to re-think your whole strategy.
Here's my take:
1. I think that the Gamma Bomb hit just before the big wave of Power Leap that we saw post-IG. In that limited window, which includes the early use of the IG, the Gamma Bomb was UBER potent. I think that it was completely outclassed by the time the UB hit, however. Nowadays I don't find it all that problematic. Didn't really then, TBH, as I'm more of an aggro player anyhow.
2. The Signal is pretty potent but, again, I don't think that it's any more potent than some of the more problematic elements in the game. Hell, if you're using that, you're not using a Resource, and that can be refreshing.
Longest-Reigning Drunken HeroClix Champion - anyone got a liver?
Best money I've ever spent? Probably my seizure medication. Haven't had a seizure in nearly twenty years, now.
Clix-wise? I've gotten a lot of enjoyment out of my Invaders and my many Penguins, but, overall, the collector and theme player in me screams "Thorin and Company."
The Beast Boy pieces. I still need the T-Rex, but he's fun to play in his other forms. For the sculpt I like John Constantine. For the name I like Paste Pot Pete (actually won a golden age tourney with him on a scientist team). My other villains would taunt him ...
"People underestimate Bob at their peril." --- Deputy U.S. Marshall Raylan Givins, JUSTIFIED
Colossal Dr Manhattan, cuz giant naked blue man.
Shuma Gorath, cuz hentai tentacle monster.
I don't let those two NEAR each other on the shelf.
Haha, I have Galactus and Dr. Manhattan holding hands on the mantelpiece - they look adorable together!
My Doc is the one that came without the map so I still need another one. My plan is to commission my artist girlfriend to resculpt one of them anatomically correct and painted sparkly like in the movie.
Zombie Hulk - Traded an arm and a leg for him, and never regretted it.
Kind of appropriate if you think about it....
I bought two....count them TWO!....packs of Supernova and the first one had the zombie hulk in it (saw the card at the top of the box as soon as I opened it). Gotta LOT of congrats and handshakes in the shop that day!!
GREAT PIECE!!
Still like my John Constantine more though (just barely)....
Got the Batmobile as a birthday gift from my children, so technically I bought it. Just too cool.
Thats a beautiful story. Reminds me of when I was a kid and would get my dad a gift. He would always say "Hmmm, I thought I had bought one of these already" haha
