"Themed Team Probability Control (TTPC): When your force is a named themed team, it can use TTPC. TTPC allows any character on a named themed team to use Probability Control..."
Since only the named themed teams are going to have the TTPC, of what use will be fielding a generic themed team be now? ..Aside from gaining initiative roll AND getting a chance to apply ATA's (and this will be hard since almost all ATA's requires a named keyword)..

I'm just about this fact..
Well, Theme Teams only have three bonuses, now. Generic Themes only get two of them. That's still pretty good.
As for the ATAs, keep in mind that the ATA Keyword requirement doesn't have to be the Keyword you are using for Theme.
You can have an Avengers Named KW Theme, and Iron Fist can have Heroes for Hire ATA.
You can have a Police Generic KW Theme, and Commissioner Gordon can have the GCPD ATA.
You can have an all-Doom team with Armor generic KW Theme, and the Doombots can have the Robot ATA.
ATAs are no longer "I have a few points left over in my build, do I have any ATAs to fill the gap?", but they can still find their way into builds.

Ata use can be big for genetic theme teams too since the ata doesn't have to be the keyword being used for the theme so your Captain America can make use of that avenger ata on your solider theme team
