Forgive me if this may be obvious to some (but not to me), but is can Thanos use his teleportation power on the first turn and can your characters be attacked on that first turn?

He was errata ed to say his power targets. And you cannot be targeted under first round immunity.

As long as the opposing figures have not been given an action, moved or were placed they cannot be targeted by opposing figures.

Interesting. What about a free action such as Perplex?

Perplex and outwit both TARGET. You cannot TARGET characters under first round immunity. I did not know that Chanos was errata'd to target. Makes him WAAAY less scary.

When you say that, how so? Can you hide in stealth from his power, for example?

I'm not totally sure on this but I think yes you might be able to trump it with stealth. I'm not overly confident on it more of a 50/50.

Well all you ave to do is pass and do it next turn,although it does give your opponent time to buff them up.

And to answer Highdanger:
Just because something "targets" doesn't mean it draws line of fire. Stealth, perplex, outwit, ranged combat attacks, and most actions/effects require LOF. Additionally almost everything targets. However, some things like poison and AOE effects (like EE splash) don't.

So to answer your question, yes he can target stealth pieces because he doesn't draw LOF which would otherwise normally be blocked. But he does target them.
