Guy Gardner can use Charge. Give Guy Gardner a move action, and if he ends his move adjacent to an opposing character, the move action counts as a free action instead, and he uses Battle Fury until that character is KO'd.
Can this be done as a free action before things like poison?
No. The move action is a non-free action until the end of the movement and non-free actions cannot be given at the beginning of turn phase unless specifically stated by the game effect.
Sure can. It's a free action, so as long as you take it before any non-free actions, he could free move and then poison, among other things.

But it still counts as a free action instead of a non-free. By that reasoning no non-free actions have been taken, and the "beginning of the turn" phase is still in effect.
"It is a fool's prerogative to utter truths that no one else will speak." "Prove you have the strength and courage to be free."
When you give the action to Guy it is a non-free action. Because it is a non-free action when given, it ends the beginning of the turn phase. The fact that it afterwards changes into a free action doesn't change the fact that you already passed the beginning of the turn phase.

I get what you are saying, but I don't see "before/after" language here. I see "instead" which changes the nature of the action. When he ends his movement adjacent to an opposing character it is a free action.
To the OP, have you emailed the rules folks? What's their email again?
Well, what if there is no tomorrow? There wasn't one today.
Right, so could an orange answer this? Showing this to judge wouldn't sway them one way or the other.
Orange responses are no where near as guaranteed as they used to be. The best thing you can do is to build a case for why it goes a certain way, and cite the relevant texts in the rule book and such to your judge, to explain why it should be this way.

EFFECTS THAT OCCUR AT THE BEGINNING OR END OF A ROUND OR TURN
Before the first player takes his or her turn in a round, effects that occur “at the beginning of a round” resolve. When a player begins his or her turn, first resolve and end all effects that last “until the beginning of your turn” or “until your next turn,” then resolve all effects that occur “at the beginning of your turn.” Game effects activated by free actions may also be resolved during the “beginning of your turn” or the “end of your turn.”
After a player has declared their turn over but before the next player begins their turn, first resolve and end all effects that last “this turn” or “until the end of the turn,” then resolve all effects that occur “at the end of your turn.” After all players have taken a turn in a round, effects that occur “at the end of a round” resolve.
Emphasis mine.
A move action is not activate by a free action. Nor does Guy's power allow you to do as such, it's allowing you to count it as a free action, but it was still activated by a non-free action.

I'm convinced. Good catch!
