So I was playing in a WoTL tournament today and myself, being newish to the game, used a character to side step and carry another character and made an attack(with the carried charater). Now I know this isn't legal(but wasn't thinking at the time) but the person I was playing against 1.) rolled super senses 2.) clicked him the damage(which KO'd the character) and took him off the board. Actions were resolved and my turn was finished. Only for him to be like "wait, you can't do that" So he healed his character back up and put him back on the board. And technically I could do the attack, I just had to do it in a different way. Instead of sidestep and carry, I would just have had to sidestep myself, and charge in. But from my understanding, when you click a character, and take him off the board actions are resolved and done. It should've been called before hand. I even offered to redo the whole thing, but the judge sided with the guy saying that I couldn't do that to begin with so I would have to just stick with the sidestep and not attack with the character, and he got to put his piece back on the board. Am I wrong to think that shouldn't have happened? Actions had resolved and the character was taken off the board. Or at least let me redo the movement and attack?
If the judge is going to turn back the clock like that he should have let you change your attack. Though from my understanding the rule book states that once the dial is turned, too late. Any reversing of game play then becomes the discretion of the judge on hand and how strictly they want to follow the rules. In most games I would reverse to the sidestep and move from there, however if it is a Event game, like WoL, there is no take backs. Fun games are a different matter to me.

Thanks in advance!
Whatever the judge says goes. You made a mistake and it cost you. Be more careful next time and move forward.
The way I play is once it's done, it's done, if you forget something or don't tell someone you have a certain power oh well remember next time. The judge's word is final but he should have thought a little harder before making a decision. Best of luck in the future though
