I don't think it could Solo though, as you don't get access to your opponent's sideline... Unless you happen to bring a character from that base in your Sideline (which would be effective and humorous; pack a Sunspot and a White Queen on your sideline!)

This sounds right, and begs a follow-up question: if Copycat switched back, would Sunspot/White Queen? To my knowledge, game effects (in this case having been swapped with Copycat) generally don't 'carry over' from team base to Solo Adventurer, so I can't currently think of a good reason why Copycat's player wouldn't keep the Solo Adventurer and leave the team base an asset short.
EDIT: Should have searched this matter before speculating. As things stand, I suspect that this ruling will indirectly apply to Copycat and Solo Adventure:

We'll clarify the issue in a future PG, but as of now, that is the current ruling.

That said, it would be well worth emailing the Rules guys if you're planning on making use of this interaction.
The difference here is wording. The Team Base isn't being mind controlled at all, but the solo adventure dials themselves are not on the controlling players sideline, so they can't be used.

If the copycat player had them on their sideline, they could be used.

The solo adventurer would not revert to always be friendly to the team base.
Also, team bases and duos care about which force they began the game friendly to. If Copycat switches, they began the game on the force that brought Copycat, so the player that brought the duo or team base Copycat infiltrated could never legally solo adventure or split or merge.

Cheers for clearing that up, A_B. A lot of crazy assumptions on my part, there, and not enough investigation into existing rulings.
