"design"
Tealing someone who is obviously agitated is far from useful or helpful. I never said you were off topic but you certainly weren't helping in any way. If this was a courtroom your post would be considered unresponsive and stricken. If you choose not to see that or care...
I'll try this way.
I agree wit the point you made completely, I only didn't comment because it was clear that the op wasn't looking for a reasonable discussion. Basically you couldn't manage to muster the self control of jtallday. Let that soak in.
Reasonable discussion: Upon the release of information that the Violet Lantern Corps had gone the way of the dodo bird and obvious figs had been rekeworded with Star Sapphires, WK announces that VLC figs would also include the Star Sapphires KW so that they would work within the new WoL set i.e. "Power Battery."
So why is it if WK cares about older figs for this reason, that GLC figs without Willpower, which there are plenty of, does not just exclude the "otherwise" in the power? I counted at least fifteen without Willpower top click, which is almost 3 times more figs with the VLC keyword, One of which is in WoL (Rond Vidar).
Boy, I sure have pissed off a lot of people lately on the interwebs. Sorry to all.
What about calling them "Papillomas?"

Huge difference my friend.
The Violet Lantern Corps being removed from Heroclix makes sense. This is because there is no such thing as the Violet Lantern Corps. They have always been the Star Sapphires. The only place where they existed as the Violet Lantern Corps was in Heroclix.
The Green Lantern Corps, however, has always had members who have shown more or less Willpower than others. They have always had members who have shown less Willpower than non Green Lanterns such as Batman and Superman. For several characters to be properly represented it makes sense for them to not have Willpower top dial or to not have it at all. This is so that we can see the full extent of the character. Remember even remakes try to capture characters at different stages in their comic book "life", so again it all makes sense with the Green Lantern Corps.

I understand what you're trying to say, and I agree with characters being represented at different times at different levels, but the ring grants 'willpower' and it's obvious in its design because it grants that power to non glc members but not core glc members, like say kilowog?

Has an official ruling been made on this on a different thread? I was told just last night that it was still being discussed. And it doesn't just apply to figs from years ago. All of the Lost Lanterns have GL Corps keywords and all but one have only limited Willpower on their dial, so Will all the way down would definitely help, as would the Outwit/Perplex negation. In some cases, that is better than the +1s. Had a guy miss all but two Perplex/Outwits last night...definitely wasn't wishing for extra +1s instead.
There is a simple answer to having a "classic" GL team with the Battery so they all get WP... include First Lantern on your team. Yeah, it'll break a theme, but then you can use all of the Lanterns without WP (well... up to 6 once we get more Constructs) and give them WP!
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????
Willpower, the power on your dial, does not always equal a character with strong willpower. Just like Psychic Blast does not mean the character has psychic powers, or the ability to dodge equally Super Senses.
Wolverine and the X-Men looks to be personally designed to for me, minus one glaring absence: Quentin Quire. Nevermind! All is well!
I just want to clarify that my previous statement was more like "I think it feels a little bit off with regards to what mechanic they could've chosen to implement" and not "HOLY TURDNUGGETS GD REALLY DROPPED THE BALL ON THIS!!!" I actually enjoy the ring and lantern mechanisms like they are.

This is incorrect. The official reply is one or the other. If you have the GLC keyword then you get the Stat bump otherwise you get everything else.
If you question this ruling I suggest you email the rules team. The link can be found in my signature.

Yeah not trying to pick on you man but you add the color when typing your post so unless you can't read the difference in letters of the words Cyan and Teal than colorblind isn't a good excuse for using the wrong color.
Most of the time I don't have the option for Teal so I have to replace the word in the color box.
I didn't know there was an actual teal and I'm not taking the time to find the right one. Also didn't know I could replace the word. Now I know.
