this piece is waaayy to OP for its points damn wizkids!!!!
Gunna have to strongly disagree. The term "OP" gets thrown around to freely these days. If by OP you mean reliant on melee attacks, lacks indomitable, takes up half your build, is susepitble to getting ripped apart from range before he can do squat, is one decent hit away from having mediocre attack values and damage....ya..sure...then he is "OP" as hell :tired:
At 195 points my Deathstroke can't even hold a candle to his defense or attack!!! In his opening click don't give me that!! This piece is over powered!!! Badly

I have to agree with you. I don't think he's that great. Effective in sealed for sure with his KW limited powers, but will get man handled in constructed formats. Also, with his average defense values and no range, he will get hurt from a distance.

They have the same AV's and Deathstroke has a higher defense. DS would need to roll a 6 (for an incap then 4 damage) and Zed needs to roll a 7. DS has two chances and if he hits Zed won't have any due to incap. How are you that wrong on your random comparison? Are you looking at the correct starting line for Zed. He in NO way is OP. I love the Black lanterns and Zed along with 'em. He'll be fun to play for sure. 4/5
Even if he started on click one, sidestep gives limited mobility for attacking. With all the resources and rings out there, this guys should be decimated before he ever gets a chance to do anything. Cool idea, and what he should be, but not OP by any means. If your opponent fields this guy and you have no means of dealing with an all close combat, mediocre combat value piece that can't push you need to re-evaluate your strategy.
Thematically, I like this character a lot! Against the Green Lantern Corps, this figure could be VERY difficult with which to deal...... if it can get its stubby little arms on a GLC member! :) With a [boot] speed symbol and low speed (stubby little legs, too!) this guy needs help getting close. @ 150-pts and fairly mediocre stats on its starting line, Black Gallius may not get much board time on anything other Black Lantern Themed Teams......
I feel like he (like a lot of the other lanterns from this set) is meant to be played with his corps' battery. Think about it, you get +1 to SPD/ATK/DEF + whatever construct you give him (I'm really looking forward to seeing what the rest of them do) and the emotional spectrum power on the battery would allow him heal to his top click (which would be at 9SPD/13ATK/20DEF/5DMG) after only one successful close combat attack!
Pulled him yesterday in my wol month 3 event.Tho the one I pulled was missing his right arm.Absolutely ridiculous when Played against teams loaded with shape change or leadership. Oh no you missed your leadership roll now I get a +1 to my combat stats. I charge in, you missed your shape change i get a +1 to my combat stats.
