I like it other than its all close ranged

Nice. It reminds me of the Big Barda and Wonder Woman boom tube alpha strike combo except more versatile.

You could use Bloody/Typhoid Mary instead of Silver Samurai and have a more versatile attacker that can do some supporting too.
