So, I had this idea to play a non-conventional Shield team with the Shield ATA. Members: Shadowcat (Grav Feed), Grav. Feed Multiple Man c2, She-Hulk, Madrox (GSX), and Morbius.
With the SHIELD ATA, that's 478 of a 500 point build, but the question is this:
Both Madrox and Multiple Man have powers that allow them to bring in additional copies of characters that share their name. Will those new character's have the SHIELD ATA when they come into play?
I'll quote the powers, but I don't think this has anything to do with the powers really. Essentially it's about whether or not the copy character's are eligible to make use of the SHIELD ATA when the original character has it active?
Here are the powers:
Quote
THE MULTIPLE MAN: Whenever Madrox takes damage from an opposing character's attack but is not KO'd, roll a d6. On a roll of 5 or 6, you may place a (X) Madrox or (X) Jamie Madrox on the same click number on the map adjacent to this character.
Quote
YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE HIT ME: Multiple Man can use Super Senses. When he does and takes damage, after actions resolve you may place a character named Multiple Man, Madrox, or Jamie Madrox of the same or lower point value on the map adjacent to him and on the same click number.
On the off chance that someone decides to put a main set MM on a G.W. Bridge team with SHIELD as his keyword and the ATA, then the following power does the same thing and provokes the same question from me.
Quote
DUPE CREATION: If Multiple Man possesses this power after taking damage, you may place a number of WXM #013 Multiple Man on their starting lines equal to the damage taken into adjacent squares. All must be placed on click #1 that follows a (orange) KO click.
No. Only the characters that are assigned the ATA during force construction will have it. Characters that are brought into play during a game will not be assigned the ATA unless they replace a character that had the ATA assigned. (If multiple characters replace a character assigned the ATA then only one of those characters will get the ATA)
