Blackout: All friendly characters that possess the Masters of Evil keyword may use Stealth.
Darkforce Dimension
Dark Burst
Darkness Under Siege: Blackout can use Barrier. Blackout can use Barrier as a free action if he places blocking terrain in his opponent's starting area. Blackout does not take pushing damage when he uses Smoke Cloud.
Breakdown
The more I look at this dial, the more it grows on me. I field Masters of Evil teams quite often (usually with CA Baron Zemo in tow) and the prospect of having perma-stealth on my team is quite enticing. The never ending smoke cloud is also great. I take it back - this dial is well worth 81 points. Now I'm just annoyed that it's a fictional dial and not a reality.
Do you like DC comics from the 1980s? So do I. Check out: www.dcinthe80s.com.

While we are getting the umpteenth version of Spider-Man and Wolverine, there are still oh so many more or less popular characters out there that are still waiting impatiently for their Heroclix debut. In this edition of Unclixed, I'll be spotlighting a Master of Evil that's still waiting to be made: Blackout!
An Avengers Under Siege gravity feed would be nice, blackout and a classic moonstone with traits that benefit each other would be nice. We got quite a few of these guys in iron man, but I would like to see the classic masters look for Moonstone, Goliath, and Fixer. It was after all one of my favorite stories as a kid, so many great villains, and don't forget that Trapster and Whirlwind were both members as well, even though Cap busted them before they could link up with the others.
I kept thinking of Bolt from DC when first seeing the image, who was in Suicide Squad briefly (Giffen series).
Still a cool character
I like Bolt.
I like Blackout (this version, mostly; the weird "vampire guy" from Ghost Rider is an okay villain, too, I guess).
Would like to see both come into the game.
......[comics] anyone else think, though, that Blackout's costume never really made sense? If you were to see him for the first time, not knowing anything about the character, you'd think he was a "weilds electricity" character, as opposed to a "Darkforce user". Know what I mean?
Fool, Idiot, Loser, Moron, Misfit, Schmoe.
Progressive-Centrist Republican, Deist.
Trying to be useful, expecting to be fired.

exactly! then while prepped for lightning, bam! hits you with dark instead
There is no reason to make the 45083rd Batman or the 56749th Iron Man over new figures.
Well... except the whole marketing thing where they try to get new players interested who have never played the game before, but see their favorite character on the box.
All things considered, though, I am actually kind of surprised they haven't made him yet... he was the only character on Agents of SHIELD that I had to look up on Wiki!
Although there was one of them that I suspected was a certain character and they had only said his "given" name instead of the alias... I had to look up the real name of the character to verify my thought. Blackout was the only one I had never heard of in Clix or comics (but I had only read comics as little as I do in the last decade or so).
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????
