I've heard it mentioned that Pulse Wave can hit characters with Stealth. Is this true? After reading the rule for Pulse Wave I don't see anything there that would allow this. Could someone please explain this?
Make sure that you're looking at the Indy PAC for the most current Pulse Wave write-up:
Quote
PAC, Pulse Wave
Give this character a ranged combat action. Reduce its range value by half. Draw lines of fire to every character (friendly and opposing) within range in every direction. This attack ignores all team abilities and powers and abilities characters within range have. These lines of fire are not blocked by character bases, but are affected normally by terrain. If clear lines of fire can be drawn to two or more characters, this character’s damage value becomes 1 for this attack; otherwise, use this character’s normal damage value. Compare the attack roll to the defense value of each character in range; each hit character is dealt damage.
Pulse Wave ignores all team abilities and powers within range, which means that Stealth and the Batman team ability, ignored, cannot offer any protection. Keep in mind that this ignoring of powers and abilities applies to both friendly and opposing figures, meaning that damage from Pulse Wave cannot be increased by Enhancement or SHIELD, nor can it be reduced by Toughness, Invulnerability, etc.
