Does anyone have any inspired builds for the GodButcher? I recently picked him up and I'm having a hard time coming up with a fun theme. You wouldn't want to use the Deity keyword, in case he gets mind controlled. I'm looking at teaming him up with some assassins. I'm also open to non-keyword theme teams, like characters who have taken down Gods or enemies of Thor or something.

I haven't used Gorr but his AV 12 and 5 dmg with Exploit Weakness looks tempting. In fact, I have only used Bullseye on the suggested build below.

You could swap Elektra for more Mirror Masters.

Typhoid Mary is nice to have for the TK to land that EW with Gorr. And her Outwit doesn't hurt either on this rather support-wise light team. If you use her, bring dp058b Bloody Mary on your sideline.

I tried building a Cosmic theme team, but didn't work out well.

I was looking at making a kingpin team, but couldn't find a way to give Gorr one of kingpins requirements that stayed in theme.

Thanks Agent P that's a good tip. I was lamenting the fact that I didnt have any assassins with TK, I'll have to pick up a Mary... I might pick up some mirror masters while I'm at it - they look fun.

I've been playing with a pseudo-cosmic team to work some TK in there, and try to help out Gorr's relatively low defense:

Gorr the God Butcher
Cosmic Boy
Captain Marvel (82 point prime)
Gamora (GotG 55 pt)

Gamora balances out the EW with her PS, Cosmic Boy gets em both where they need to be, and Marvel hangs with Gorr to help him from getting psychic blasted too easily. Gotta bump the points up a little more though, that's only about 400.
