@p1ckst3r: That is valid for now, but I have read heavy discussion that your opponent would not be obligated (or even allowed) to let you to use their characters in that case. Though it is not really the place for it, it is meaningful in this particular post so I will go ahead and SPECULATE that the errata could be to not allow the "solo adventure" during "working together" in the midst of mind control or otherwise. Makes sense that if you can't do it when they are mind controlled then they shouldn't be able to do it when they are not. Also the powers contradict themselves so it would at least make sense.
Barda without prep time to Flurry would do 5 damage with a psychic blast (if JL is not in hindering) or possibly 5 damage after an object and impervious cancel out (unless the impervious roll was 5-6). The 6th click has only 9 attack. If you hit they would need a 10 to hit you back. Supposing you use Constantine as suggested they would have 3 chances to do so. If JL outwits Barda's Impervious then 57.9% chance you take no damage, 34.7% you take 3 damage, 6.9% you take 6, and 0.5% you get KOed. If you carry Constantine with you and they would have to use outwit on his Mystical Wards or then they have a 91.9% chance to wiff, 7.9% to do 3 damage, 0.2% to do 6 and virtually zero to KO you. (If they try to kill Constantine they would take 2 mystic damage in the process.) That means you get to use Barda's impervious so the most damage they could do in retaliation would be 3 with virtually zero chance of getting all three hits in so their best option is to split off. Moving Constantine out 7, TKing Barda with Green Lantern you could carry Constantine and make this ranged attack from 22 squares away, or this close combat from 18 squares. Since after such a big starting hit the JL would need start to split off, having someone to outwit at that point would be nice so maybe JL52 Mera and BM209R Batgirl instead of GL. You loose barrier but you may want to be more offensive with these odds.
I stop reading halfway through. The percentages are a nice touch though. But seriously, you're saying what you're going to do, double power actions, moving, carrying, and other stuff. But what is the JL doing, passing every turn? Turn 1 you double power action to flurry. Next turn I move, running shot, range combat action. You have to clear, I running shot, range combat action, ranger combat action. Unless my dice are ice cold I already crippled your team.
He's right, assuming the JLTB hasn't already hit her first. He's using BB with the UB, assuming a first strike due to Boom Tube/Psi-Blast. Happens to land JLTB on it's worst click (9 AV and 3 DM).
Doing 5 penetrating seems to be the magic to beating the base.
@stevebo0124: NOT prep timing to flurry, you just want that hit for 5 penetrating. Justice league threads have quoted they pass on first turn so immune to an alpha strike. So I just barrier if I am using GL or pass otherwise. They come across the map after me (I don't mind that I have the only prob and Barda is great at taking a hit). If they don't hit Barda then I retaliate as describe. If they do hit Barda only a 46% chance of doing 2 damage 35% chance of doing 3 depending on their perplexes. If they do 2 damage I am only 1 damage less with Barda which will still put them on 9 attack and if they do 3 damage I am on flurry with Barda! Green Lantern has energy shield deflection so a 19 defense from a range attack (6 or 7 to hit depending on JL perplex vs a possible PC from Constantine: 72% at best or maybe just 52% after PC if they perplex up attack!) and should they hit Constantine they take mystics damage. Failing rolls that are only 50/50 is not exactly "ice cold" dice. This isn't even my team, just showing the validity of it versus the "working together" alpha strike from the Justice League team base. It would have a decent chance versus a Justice League alpha strike but who knows if they start splitting off. I think the "solo adventure" is more broken than the "working together". Having both is just ridiculous. I think the Justice League team base is better than nearly every 300 point team and would on average beat most everything else. Just stating a team that has a chance and why. If Barda strikes first unscathed she has a 92% chance of hitting JL and forcing them to split up. If she hits back after taking a hit she has an 83% chance of doing so. JL trying to hit with an alpha strike versus the team posted is not favorable. But splitting up from the start will likely take the team down.
I see trading out green lantern for batgirl and mera would be good. I like this team as a 300pt modern age in general that also has a fighting chance against the 300pt JLTB. I realized that in a real big point game that indigo from this set really can shut the jltb down! for obvious reasons

played a 400 pt. game with this, ff oracle, full gauntlet( i know, cheese...but i never get to use it at tournys) jl dark ata. I actually thought i was going to loose horribly having only one attacker. But when i popped out that cyborg, everything changed. Even with the new rules, this thing is beast. the asset dial is crazy useful. Left the tourny with the cheese master flex title. Got my one use of the JL base out the way, lol...back to the shelf.
oh, btw...it was questioned whether i could use the gauntlet on it or not. No one saw anything against it at the time, so I continued normally. anyone know anything about this?
So fun to play, but have repeatedly gotten stomped by powerhouses with impervious. With no penetrating damage output, you quickly find yourself stressed out when facing a power cosmic tentpole with gold showing in the defense.
