I still want my 200+ point Amazo that is this figure+, but I don't mean that as a complaint, only a wish list. This Amazo rocks something fierce. Getting the 'can use' language from a trait is very hard to deal with and totally appropriate for a stable-value Indomitable beast. And only 130 points! Craziness. If I can get my hands on this guy, I plan on programming him against a LOT of armies. Personally, I think the most amusing interaction is an opponent using Mind Control to make you choose a different ability and drop whatever is making Amazo particularly hard to deal with at the moment, which is also pretty appropriate...and while I don't think it will come up too often, it would be fun to borrow Battle Fury for the Incap/MC immunity sometimes!


A standard combat ability.

A standard combat ability appears on the PAC. Standard combat abilities include combat symbols, including Improved Movement and Targeting, and individual aspects of combat symbols that are usually bundled and don't come alone (Carry, Giant Reach, Giant Size, Colossal Stamina, Merge/Split). Multiattack is listed on the PAC as a combat ability. Why would would Amazo be able to copy the entire list of things listed on the PAC under the 'Combat Abilities' section EXCEPT Multiattack?


My ideal list doesn't really exist because each match has its own demands, and you obviously grab what's available on the map. But if I 'must', then: Multiattack + Precision Strike + Steal Energy. Or maybe Colossal Stamina + Multiattack + Steal Energy. Because nothin' says luvin' like a killer robot that refuses to die and won't stop hitting things.

Too bad he does not copy special powers...i would have loved to copy brainiac's special defense power and then you would need to damage him 7 times because each of his clix would become stop clixs

Amazo is now one of my favourite figures.

I also feel the dial is too weak for a Character that took out the Justice League. It makes no sense and does not represent the Character for that reason. I wanted a remake of the JL 200+ Version. Need higher DV and more clicks of life. I do not like pick the powers gimmick.

Managed to win one in one of the final Sunday battle royals at GenCon 2014! Having him in hand, my only complaint (other than the curled card thing all regular Con LEs have because of their box size) is how the sculpt turned out compared to the 3D model. The expected loss of muscle/facial detail and depth of grooves for banding is actually fine, as these details are still present enough to be clearly visible even from a distance. But the one I have in hand has a clear gap where the neck meets the head, and where the power-ring arm's bands meet the elbow. It's not very noticeable from the front or the angle where he's facing you, but is a bit sad to see from the back. Additionally, there seems to be no color differentiation between light green and dark green banding anywhere, it's all just one shade. Still, I give the final result 3.5-4 stars.

a couple of my clicks had this problem from deadpool.... the gaps between character limbs all i did was use a small amount of gorilla glue and fill the gaps in nice and neat. After that i just made sure that the spot was smooth than painted the same color over it to hide gap. I'd try this on old pieces before you try if you do because some glues can be messy and cause more damage then they help, but with some practice they can look good.

I just used him and WRECKED it. I ended the game with invincible, regen and mystics. There was pretty much no beating him.

Correct me if I'm wrong but can you use only one power/ C.A/ T.A. at a time but not all 3? The word (or) has me second guessing if that's legal to copy all 3.

From the way the trait is worded, whenever it is used, it checks to see if you have 3 powers or abilities used and, if not, lets you add another. So you can have 3 at one time, otherwise mentioning a specific number would be irrelevant.

I can see no reason why he can't copy Multi-attack. It's a combat ability, and those he can copy. If someone had traited super-strength, he can copy that too. However, it probably depends on "can use" vs. "possesses", and my reading of the rules is that if they have an ability from a special power, a trait, or something else printed on their dial (such as the Improved Movemtn, Improved Targeting plus sign), they possess those abilities. Therefore, if Multi-attack is granted by a trait or a special power, then they possess that ability, and Amazo can copy it. For that matter, he can copy Improved Movement/Targeting.

Just imagine the fun of getting both Multiattack AND Duoattack with him.
