I remeber when I first got back into clix somewhere around 2012 after almost a 8 years since I had played the game as a kid in the very being(my timeframe mat be a little off, forgive me). Looking back at the units section I remeber a handful of figures I knew I just had to collect from the years of clix I missed out on. Crisis World's Finest was at the top of that list. At 500 points the piece, even in its prime was far to bloated to be much of a threat on the battlefield. I have waited for this remake for several years, now here we are. Overall I think this is a good representation of Wizkidz original attempt at the duo. 300points seems like a steap cost for a tentpole with no top dial support powers is a scary thing. Still, I look forward to fielding this mini monster and feel that overall his dial is well thought out and will prove very effective in the hands of a good player, and will do extremely well in high point constructed games. I give it a 4 out of 5 stars.
I mean with colossal stamina, if they are clear and don't get hit, which with hypersonic isn't unheard of, they can deal 20 damage in 4 turns before they lose the 5 damage. More with objects. That's insane.
Here I was, ready to have my turtles and be out with what I considered a completed collection. Then I see this and the new Superman to split into. WK apparently has me by the wallet and has no intention of letting go yet.
Has anyone else noticed that this is just one big joke at Clarks expense. Just like the comics everyone gets dumber when Bruce is around, even on a plastic disc.
Hootenanny, well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny.
@The7ofDiamonds - IMO it makes up for the 7+ years of the original 2x2 Crisis version which is (and WAS) unplayable. First time I played the Crisis version, I got owned, figured I was doing it wrong and tried again with a different strategy and got owned even quicker. How hard should it be to play Superman and Batman on a single dial? It shouldn't be. I love this.
Pulled these guys in the pre-release went 2-1, In the match I lost my opponent rolled a 6 on SC/SS/Impervious 90% of the time and I couldn't roll above a 5, it was still a REALLY close game. Can't wait to play them on a team with the powergirl/huntress duo.
Does the trait make it so they don't suffer damage depletion modifier? Am I the only person looking at this new set and going wtf? Between this and the 90 point Superman that's got like 19 defense with Invincible AND boosts defense of adjacent friendlies, guess I'll just pack my other clix in a box and stick them in storage.
WORLD'S FINEST TEAM: World's Finest's power and abilities can't be countered and their combat values can't be decreased.

That just means you can't perplex their values down. Their duo attack would still be subject to the depletion modifier.
No, it means that their combat values cannot be decreased. Anything that modifies their combat values in a negative manner doesn't work. They don't decrease their attack value for attacking from smoke cloud, they don't get -2 to their speed from carrying, they don't get the minuses from Duo Attack, and they don't suffer the damage depletion modifier.
