Iron man's trait should override that rule. Unless I'm missing something.

TATICAL TARGETING: When choosing targets for a ranged combat attack, Iron Man may choose both a character and an object, wall, or square of blocking terrain instead of a second character.

An "OK" Iron Man. I tend to reach for others, but I played him tonight and he was serviceable.

Win/Loss: 5-1 This is the Iron Man I reach for when I want the Golden Avenger on my team. A perfect representation of the 70's / 80's Iron Man when he was a rich guy in a suit. Fantastic cost, with everything you need from an Iron Man (good range, 2 targets, Outwit, mobile, Regen, Knockback power, clever trait) and nothing you don't. So good on Avenger teams, he allows a team to be put together rather than eating up 50-75% of your build. I sculpt swapped mine for the IIM common for a more accurate look. And while his attack values are average to below, his ability to target an opposing character AND terrain hedges your attack so you aren't wasting an action. Love this piece. EDIT: 2015 - I may be the only person who uses him but he is still going strong. I added the Jocasta "program" to the armor and it's a great upgrade at 135 points.

I stand with tyroclix on this one. I still play this Iron Man regularly. He is the right point cost, right sculpt and right powers. He always over performs for his point cost. He is sometimes replaced by the classic Avengers, re often than not I play this Tony.
