I asked this question no the WES with no response, and honestly I feel like the answer to it is "No that's stupid.", which I agree with, I just want to know why and what rule prevents it.

REVERT: HULK: Give Nul a free action and replace him with a figure named Hulk of equal or less points that's the same number of clicks from its starting line. You may assign FI #S106 Nul's Hammer to that character and it can't be given an action this turn.
If I use REVERT while on click 9 to replace him with NFAOS052 Hulk on his 100 point starting line, what happens?
Do I click him 9 times, causing him to wrap around to Click 6, or while clicking does he KO himself upon reaching his first KO click?
The KO rules state

When a KO symbol appears in a character’s stat slot, that character is defeated. Immediately remove it from the map; it is no longer part of the game.
But with REVERT, you first have to click the character X clicks then place them on the map, so if they're not on the map/in the game yet, can they be KO'd?
Things can be KO'd even when not on the map. Things like equipped items (mainly "possessors" like Entities, etc.) with linked dials still get KO'd when they're turned to a KO click. No reason to think the same thing wouldn't happen here.
I'm fairly certain there have been rulings in the past that have basically amounted to "you can't turn a dial past its last click unless something specifically says otherwise", though i can't find anything addressing that at the moment. I feel like that was a while ago, though, and I can't think of any specific examples.
Rules rationale might be a little weak on this, but pretty sure they'd say that because you're using him at his 100 point starting line, any clicks before that are considered KO clicks.

I wouldn't say they're considered KO clicks, but they're not part of the dial for the 100 point starting line. If you're using the blue starting line, any clicks before that essentially just don't exist.
The dial is clicks 7-11 and KO on 12. Clicks 1-6 are part of the dial only for the 300 point version.

Yeah, it does look like it would be as simple as "stop clicking when you hit the KO." For reference, a figure that doesn't work that way.
So yeah, you try clicking 9 clicks from Hulk's starting line, hit a KO and stop.
