For me, Koi Boi was either absolutely crucial or absolutely dead weight, depending on how much stealth my opponent had and whether he made those breakaway rolls. He's worth tossing on if you have the points to spare, but you can't depend on him being useful. In this set, in sealed, I think more often than not he'll just be hanging out in the back hoping not to draw attention to himself. One other guy pulled him in our pre-release and I don't think he got to use his trait once all night.
I think you need to raise Domino, Psylocke and Fantomex up to 4 shields.
Teaming those 3 along with Cable and U-Go Girl is ridiculous. U-Go Girl carries them up and the three stealthers protect Cable who does the most damage on the next turn. It's a very dangerous team.

Others have lobbied for Domino and Fantomex. I need to add some praise for Hit Monkey. He was huge for me in every game I played him. And at only 40 points, no opponent chooses to go after him first.
I didn't play any uncommons, and I faced very few of them in the pre-release. The two uncommons I faced were Psylocke and Domino. Predictably, the intent was to always keep them in hindering terrain, which could have worked against opponents once I was up on points.
If I have one complaint about how this set plays in sealed, it's that the over-abundance of Stealth (often as a ) has players default into the mode of "I'm staying in this terrain until you come to me" at a level I associate with the days of Hypertime Batman/Nightwing. Each pre-release match literally was opposing characters moving into hindering terrain (where available) and waiting/baiting my force.
As a result of this over-abundance of Stealth, Telekinesis is quite important (as well as proper object placement), as is move+close-combat attacks... the common Cable being a very respectable attacker in close-combat, who has Stealth of his own.
I kinda feel like Fantomex and Domino are 4 star pieces, but I'd rather see some restraint in rating that perfect scores for every other figure. Nice work guys.
