Q1
As you can only pick up objects when moving can a figure pick up an object it they are adjacent to it only at the end of their move as at this point the move stops?

So an object is 9 squares away, a figure with SS has a move of 8. Can it move 8 squares and still pick up the now adjacent object as it's move comes to an end?

Q2
If the answer to the above is yes, can a figure with leap and climb (or fly, HSS, Phasing etc) & SS move adjacent to a figure, stop and whip an object out from under them.

Q3
Similar to question 2, a figure with L&C & SS moves past an enemy figure on an object. Can it whip the object out from under them.

1. I have always played that you can pick up any object in any square adjacent to the character at any point of the move. That would include square 9 when you have a speed of 8.

2. Yes, this is definitely correct. I've seen discussed elsewhere that if a flyer has Charge, they can charge, pick up the object under the target character, and stomp them with it.

3. Yes
