Last week, I fieled at team with Sam Rey. Now if someone attacked him and he made his late dial Impervious roll, the damage dealt was reduced to 0. Now he still was damage by the attack. Would the Crossgen/Mystics TA kick in (Same with Invunerablitly (reduce by two)/Toughness(reduce by one))? Also if he takes push damage from incap, that is damage dealt from an attack correct? So would the Incap'er take a click of damage from the TA that he has?
The CrossGen TA only kicks in when the figure TAKES damage. Dealing 0 damage to a figure means the figure TAKES no damage at all.
Pushing damage is not the same as taking damage from an attack, so no retaliation on Incapacitate; however, if the INC rolled a critical, it would deal 1 damage, and if that 1 damage wasn't absorbed by Toughness/INV/IMP, then Sam would TAKE damage and the CrossGen TA would retaliate.
0 damage is 0 damage. It has a value, it is 0. 0 damage can then be altered by other powers, otherwise a 0 damage char with RCE is useless.
No damage is no damage. No damage has no value. MC does no damage, but is worded so a crit hit still applies.
Therefore, 0 damage being a value can trigger superpowers or TAs. An attack that does no damage would not.
0 damage and no damage are different terms and follow different rules.

That's almost correct. When using an attack that does "no damage" like Mind Control, no one takes a click when you roll a critical hit or miss. It does no damage whatsoever.
In my day, we didn't have Heroclix. If you were being attacked by Superman with a 3d dumpster, you just had to hope you could outrun him.
Shazam (as B.B. on the starting click) is the PRIME example of a 0 dam fig. He can push to attack (causing no dam whatsoever) for the activation click...
